Business Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager with a background in logistics to join our client, a leading international logistics and supply chain solutions business. The successful candidate will have full responsibility for the operations taking place at one of their major facilities in the Northwest, as well as shaping the future of the business in the area.

The Role:

  • Full operational responsibility for the running of a logistics hub at a port
  • Involvement with ongoing business development activities, including oversight of bid writing
  • Managing both outbound and inbound tenders
  • Ensuring all works are carried out in compliance with HSE regulations

The Person:

  • Previous experience in Operations Management/General Management/Business Management
  • Background in logistics or strong knowledge of logistics planning, supply chain management etc.
  • Experience in/knowledge of Oil & Gas, Energy, Offshore, Marine sectors
  • Experience with business development, bid writing and budget management
