About the Role.
As the Head of HR, you will lead the HR and Talent Acquisition Team, playing a pivotal role in shaping and implementing our HR strategy. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will oversee the full employee lifecycle, ensuring the delivery of HR activities that attract, retain, and develop our people.
This role offers opportunities for professional development and career growth as well as the chance to make a significant impact on our organisation and its people. You will work closely with senior leaders to drive business outcomes and contribute to the development of our company culture.
Key Responsibilities.
Strategy:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives, leveraging data and insights to inform decision-making.
- Lead organisational change initiatives, driving engagement and continuous improvement across the organisation.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement business plans, ensuring alignment with HR strategies.
Talent Acquisition:
- Ensure effective recruitment strategies to attract top diverse talent, working closely with the TA Lead to develop and implement recruitment plans.
- Monitor recruitment activities and budgets, improving and regularly reviewing onboarding processes to ensure a seamless candidate experience.
Business Partnering:
- Lead Senior HR Business Partners, providing strategic HR support to business leaders and driving business outcomes.
- Act as a trusted advisor on HR matters, continuously improving the HR business partnering model and developing strategic relationships with senior leaders.
Leadership:
- Build and maintain a high-performing HR team, identifying training needs and implementing upskilling initiatives to drive business outcomes.
- Develop and implement performance management programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving continuous improvement.
People Policies and Employee Relations:
- Manage complex employee relations issues professionally, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Develop initiatives to mitigate business risks and ensure legal compliance, working closely with senior leaders to develop and implement business plans.
People Initiatives:
- Oversee performance and talent management programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving continuous improvement.
- Champion employee engagement and support leaders in creating a high-performance culture, driving business outcomes and contributing to the development of our company culture.
HR Systems:
- Optimise HR systems for better functionality and user experience, ensuring seamless integration with business processes.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
About You.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience in leading HR and Recruitment Teams, with a track record of driving business outcomes and developing high-performing teams.
- Experience of working with Trade Unions or Staffing Representatives, with a strong understanding of employment law and regulations.
- Strategic business partnership experience at a senior management level, with a proven ability to develop and implement business plans.
- Experience working in international HR teams, with a strong understanding of global employment law and regulations.
- A strong track record in developing and delivering people strategies, with a proven ability to drive business outcomes and develop high-performing teams.
- HR Budget management experience, with a strong understanding of financial management and budgeting.
- Knowledge of HR practices in diverse, fast-paced organisations, with a strong understanding of employment law and regulations.
What You Need.
- CIPD level 7 qualification or equivalent experience, with a strong understanding of HR practices and employment law.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and influencing skills, with a proven ability to develop and implement business plans.
- Excellent presentation and communication abilities, with a strong understanding of business acumen and financial management.
- Commercial and financial acumen, with a strong understanding of HR budget management and financial planning.
- High levels of technical IT competence and experience with HR systems, with a strong understanding of data analysis and reporting.
