We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a PRU in Preston. The successful candidate will have experience supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH) in an alternative provision or PRU setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students' learning across Key Stage 3 and 4
  • Develop relationships with SEMH pupils and help them achieve their potential
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching staff to implement clear routines and therapies

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and understanding of working with SEN and challenging behaviour
  • Proven record of engaging all pupils and raising their attainment
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure and overseas Police Clearances (if applicable)
