Domestic Support Assistant

Woodlands Care Home is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Assistant to join our team on a bank contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the care home maintains a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene
- Empty waste bins and maintain a clean and tidy environment
- Perform daily cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, dusting, and polishing
- Restock toiletries, soaps, and towels as required
- Assist with laundry and linen duties
- Participate in deep cleaning tasks, including shampooing carpets and cleaning pipe work
- Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the management team
Requirements:
- At least 1 year's experience working in a domestic or cleaning role
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks and lift heavy objects
