About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our Engineering team at Memory Lane Cakes, a leading bakery site within Finsbury Food Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide multi-skilled engineering support to the site, covering mechanical and electrical maintenance, breakdown, fault finding, and scheduled maintenance activities.
  • Work as an active part of our cross-functional maintenance team, ensuring the site manufacturing equipment is maintained and available for use.
  • Continuously monitor and improve processes to ensure maximum equipment availability and minimize downtimes.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement culture, identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies and reduce site waste and downtimes.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience operating as a multi-skilled engineer role.
  • Completed apprenticeship, with appropriate mechanical, electrical, and control's capability.
  • Appropriate Health and Safety level of training and experience.
  • Ability to travel to carry out duties at other facilities within the group and customer base.
  • Effective communication, reporting, and decision-making.
