Job Description

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a Senior Site Manager on traditional build housing schemes, with a proven track record of delivering high-volume projects from foundation to handover. Our client is a well-established housing developer with over 25 years of experience, offering a competitive salary and career progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the site team as No1, reporting directly to the Contract Manager
  • Collaborate with a Site Manager, Assistant Site Manager, or Trainee Assistant Site Manager
  • Chair sub-subcontractor meetings to ensure smooth project execution
  • Oversee the development's completion in accordance with specification and the build programme
  • Manage RAMS and ensure a full understanding of H&S protocols
  • Conduct snagging of sub-contractor work and provide accurate reports on progress and dates
  • Control additional costs for non-productive costs and prelim expenditure
  • Drive quality at every stage of the construction process
  • Ensure the development passes internal and external inspection processes
  • Take responsibility for self-development and the development of others
  • Monitor and control the quality of production and approve stage completions to payments to subcontractors
  • Oversee completions, CMLS, and handovers
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager on traditional build schemes
  • Able to manage a fast-paced, busy site
  • Able to train and manage staff who report to you
  • New build, residential experience
  • CSCS, Black certification
  • First Aid and Scaffold awareness
