Automotive Repair Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Repair Specialist to join our team in Edinburgh. As a key member of our auto services business, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality repair services for our customers.
This is a permanent full-time position reporting directly to the Lead Vehicle Damage Assessor.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role with knowledge of vehicle repair methods, Thatcham repair methods, Audatex, and ATA qualification.
Responsibilities- Work within site guidelines to ensure efficient workflow of job cards, meeting volume targets and identifying fast-track repairs.
- Collaborate with policyholders and Direct Line Group engineering functions on borderline repairable or beyond economical repair cases.
- Ensure accurate parts orders and follow purchase procedures.
- Review repair methodologies to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Accountable for Health and Safety regulations and company health and safety procedures appropriate to the role.
- Experience in vehicle repair methods.
- Knowledge of Thatcham repair methods, Audatex, and ATA qualification.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- An estimated salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
