About the RoleThe Commercial Director will be responsible for:
- Leading the marketing and purchasing functions, including planning, implementation, and management of marketing activities.
- Managing and nurturing high-level supplier relationships, factory engagement, and margin management.
- Developing and strengthening the marketing and purchasing functions to contribute to business growth and profitability.
- Budget planning and management.

We are looking for a seasoned director-level professional with experience in hands-on marketing, working with suppliers and purchasing teams, and keen commercial skills. Foodservice/HoReCa experience is advantageous. The ideal candidate will have:
- Senior management experience in a SME business.
- Hands-on marketing management experience (5+ years).
- Website development and management, plus digital marketing expertise.
- Management of the product life cycle across a significant portfolio of products.
- Gross margin and budget management.
- Purchasing and global supplier relationships.
- Branded consumer or hospitality products - Glass / Ceramics / Metalware.
- Route to market, via a complex supply chain.
- Passion for the foodservice industry.
