About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our expanding secondary care psychology service within the North East London Foundation Trust (NELFT). This is an exciting opportunity for a clinical/counselling psychologist to deliver person-centred, evidence-based interventions for individuals experiencing psychosis and provide invaluable support to their loved ones.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based interventions for clients presenting with psychosis and their families/carers.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and carers to ensure effective communication and care planning.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative interventions and services that meet the needs of the population we serve.
  • Engage in regular supervision and professional development to maintain expertise and stay up-to-date with best practices.
Requirements
  • Doctoral level training in clinical/counselling psychology and registration with the Health Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary service context, with a focus on delivering evidence-based interventions for individuals with complex mental health needs.
  • Strong knowledge of research methodology, research design, and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams.
