Sanctuary Personnel Ltd, a dedicated recruitment agency, is seeking a skilled Practice Manager to join their Community Social Work Team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be based in Redbridge and work full-time.

The salary for this position is up to £55,700 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To lead a team of HCPC Registered and unregistered staff, ensuring the operational delivery of a Children's Social Care Service in accordance with legislation and Local policies.
  • To enable and challenge others to develop their knowledge base and skills, making evidence-based judgements and improving independent decision-making regarding risk.
  • To manage a team, including individual performance management and professional development of staff, establishing regular supervision arrangements, mentoring, and coaching.
  • To model and use critical reflective skills in management, practice, or organisational supervision settings to enhance best practice.
  • To stay up-to-date with good practice guidance, current legislation, Government initiatives, and local policies and procedures, disseminating this information within the team.
  • To write complex reports and briefing papers on policy and operational issues, actively participating in meetings, case conferences, or task forces.
  • To ensure team members meet expectations in relation to the council's statutory responsibilities, policies, and standards, and that all practice is delivered and maintained in accordance with Equality & Diversity policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • A social Work Qualification or equivalent.
  • Continual professional development.
  • Social Work England registered.
