Arqiva, the leading Smart utilities platform in the UK, seeks an experienced Network Engineering Manager to oversee the management, design, and configuration of IP solutions across our organisation. This role involves working closely with our Microwave and Datacentre design teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of technical projects.

As a key member of our Network and Security Platforms team, you will be responsible for setting standards for processes and engineering practices related to IP and Microwave network infrastructure. Your exceptional technical knowledge and leadership skills will enable you to lead multi-disciplined technical teams, schedule/prioritise tasks, and oversee the delivery of technical projects.

We offer a competitive salary of £90,000, plus a 10% bonus, 6% pension contribution, private medical insurance, and 25 days annual leave. You will also have access to our comprehensive flexible benefits package, including discounts on big brands, wellness programs, and employee assistance programmes.

In this role, you will be accountable for system management, ensuring that version and hardware are up-to-date and supported. You will contribute to the strategic roadmap, provide business cases for network upgrades to maintain performance via the Maintenance Capex Program, and deliver programs as required.

We are seeking someone with a strong understanding of technologies related to IP and Microwave networking, BGP, OSPF, Multicast, and public cloud. Experience in technology asset lifecycle management is also essential.
