Job Description

The Fixed Income team at BlackRock provides a range of fixed income products tailored to meet different client needs for risk and return. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the team's growth and defence of assets under management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers, researchers, and other product strategists to develop a deep understanding of our investment approach, portfolios, and performance.
  • Discuss market developments and active views of the portfolio management team, relating to portfolio positioning and performance.
  • Complete ad-hoc client requests and strive to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Serve as a liaison between the investment team and other areas of BlackRock (marketing, sales, compliance, legal, etc.) to proactively solve clients' investment-related, business, and operational issues.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 6+ years of relevant financial markets experience is essential.
  • Experience in a client-facing role with strong presentation skills.
  • Passion for and knowledge of fixed income markets.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
  • Possession of another European language to a business standard is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint is essential, with proficiency in programming languages such as Python highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Aladdin and Bloomberg is beneficial.

Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary of £80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits including retirement investment, education reimbursement, and Flexible Time Off (FTO). The estimated annual salary range is £80,000-£110,000 based on qualifications and location.
