About the Role

As a Senior Consultant in our Human Capital practice, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality client work, business development, and practice development. You will be a key member of any client-facing team, working on large-scale HR strategy and transformation projects for multinational clients or supporting delivery of specialist HR projects in a particular focus area, such as Shared Service Centre design, Robotics, or Technology selection.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include conducting research, data collection, and analysis to deliver insightful and innovative solutions to clients. You will also interview client employees and managers, facilitate meetings and workshops, and assist in preparing high-quality deliverables such as documents and presentations that present client recommendations. Additionally, you will work with client counterparts to scope pieces of work, gather requirements, gather feedback, and check understanding. You will oversee junior members of the team, owning and leading work streams of activity within client engagements and managing teams of Consultants and Analysts. You will also develop client relationships through effective stakeholder engagement, assist with developing new business by actively contributing to proposals and bids, and identify and suggest ways to win new business. Furthermore, you will contribute to the development of new HR propositions to support our clients and grow our business, and be actively involved in the running of the practice.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require a clear understanding of HR and its function in a business context. You will need to demonstrate awareness of HR and related sector market trends, as well as a passion and appetite to explore further and bring new thinking into everyday. You will also need to have a proven track record of contributing to the delivery of HR-related workstreams and deliverables, and expertise in one or more of the following areas: HR operations, HR transformation programs, enabling HR technologies, shared services, HR organization design, or a specialist HR area such as learning, recruitment, benefits, reward, performance, and talent. You will also need to possess excellent facilitation, communication, and data analysis skills, and have the ability to influence others. You will be able to apply knowledge and expertise in a range of client scenarios, focusing on high-quality even in high-pressured, time-critical situations. You will also demonstrate personal insight and good judgment when solving business issues, build client and internal networks based on credibility and trust, manage client expectations and relationships, and be willing to work collaboratively, build relationships, and contribute to the positive and supportive culture of the practice. Additionally, you will possess the ability and willingness to contribute to business development through supporting bids for new business.
