As a Teletruck operator, you will be responsible for safely operating a teletruck to move, lift, and transport bails and materials such as plastic, paper, and cardboard on a waste recycling site.

Responsibilities and Expectations
  • Operate the teletruck to transport materials to designated areas.
  • Conduct daily inspections and maintenance checks on the telehandler to ensure its safe operation.
  • Assist in loading and unloading materials from lorries and other vehicles.
  • Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate material handling tasks.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.

The salary for this position is approximately £30,000 per year, with opportunities for growth to £32,000 after probation. The shift patterns include either 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM.

Key Requirements
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience operating a Teletruck.
  • Commercial driving experience, particularly with heavy machinery.
  • Familiarity with digging operations.
