Senior Project Estimator

As a Senior Project Estimator, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional value to our customers by providing accurate and timely estimates for material handling system projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the estimating team in developing and implementing cost-effective solutions for material handling system projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate information, apply judgment and statistical tests, and provide recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain cost libraries and databases to ensure accuracy and efficiency in estimating.
  • Provide technical direction and oversight to junior team members, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to succeed.
  • Identify opportunities for process and system improvements to maximize accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of formal technical training.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (10-20% of the time).
  • Strong math and analytical skills, with an eye for detail.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, and ability to create reports, meeting minutes, and other documents.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics or engineering.
  • Knowledge of database applications and SQL.
  • Project Management Professional certification.
  • Ability to use and be proficient in descriptive statistics.
