We are looking for an exceptional ServiceNow Certified Application Developer to join our team as a System Applications Specialist. This role requires designing, developing, and implementing custom applications and solutions within the ServiceNow platform to meet the business needs of our organization.

As a System Applications Specialist, you will be responsible for automating business processes, resolving complex operational challenges, and collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions within ServiceNow.

Key accountabilities for this role include:

  • Designing and developing custom applications within ServiceNow to automate business processes and resolve complex operational challenges.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions within ServiceNow.
  • Customizing existing ServiceNow applications and integrating with external systems and APIs to enhance functionality and user experience.
  • Conducting thorough testing of developed applications and ensuring compliance with coding standards and best practices.
  • Creating comprehensive documentation for developed applications and providing ongoing support and enhancements based on user feedback.
  • Working closely with the ServiceNow System Administrator and other IT team members to ensure seamless implementation and operation of ServiceNow applications.

To be successful in this role, you should have expertise in ServiceNow platform development capabilities, strong knowledge of JavaScript and AngularJS framework, and general programming skills with a deep understanding of secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC).

You should also possess excellent communication and teamwork abilities, be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines. A creative mindset for solving complex problems is essential for this role.

We offer a competitive salary of £85,000 - £95,000 per annum, depending on experience.
