We are seeking a skilled Motor Vehicle Technician Van Specialist to join our team, who will be responsible for conducting MOT tests, servicing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to meet franchise and company standards in a fast-paced workshop environment.

The ideal candidate will represent various manufacturers, working on diverse vehicles and models, taking pride in their work and ensuring high-quality standards. We seek candidates willing to train within the manufacturer franchise and have the ambition to progress to Senior and Master Technician status.

This role provides a comprehensive package, including industry-leading EV training, state-of-the-art facilities, and full support for development. A typical day as a Motor Vehicle Technician Van Specialist includes:

  • Reporting to the Service Manager, meeting franchise and company standards in a service environment.
  • Undertaking maintenance, service, and repair activities on various vehicle types.
  • Repairing and testing vehicles, diagnosing faults, and providing quality write-ups for customers and manufacturers.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work area, adhering to Health & Safety standards.
  • Completing relevant documentation, including job sheets, PDIs, and service reports.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Experience in the Automotive sector, preferably in a technical role.
  • A Level 2 NVQ or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, and an MOT Testers Licence.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a challenging environment.
  • Strong technical ability and problem-solving skills.
  • An Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification or certification is advantageous but not essential.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. With an average salary of £50,000 per year, you can expect a rewarding career at Stoneacre Motor Group.
