About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Social Media Coordinator to join our team at Beatport. As a key member of our digital community, you will be responsible for bringing our social media strategies to life across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Community Engagement:
- Manage online interactions and maintain the brand's voice in all responses.
- Proactively seek out content to engage with and conversations to join, ensuring our brand is part of the ongoing dialogue in the electronic music space.
- Report back to the team on insights gathered from community interactions, informing future strategies.
- Content Management:
- Oversee the scheduling and posting of content across various social media platforms, ensuring alignment with our content calendar and brand goals.
- Assist Social Media Managers in curating and managing the content calendar, ensuring consistency and relevance across platforms.
- Trend Monitoring:
- Stay ahead of emerging social media trends, contributing innovative ideas to enhance engagement and reach.
- Compile performance data and work with Social Media Managers to provide actionable insights that will optimize future content strategies.
Requirements:
- Some experience managing social media, either through personal projects, previous roles, or freelance work.
- A keen eye for emerging trends in social media and the electronic music industry.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to maintain a consistent brand voice.
- Passion for the electronic music scene, with a deep connection to the community and culture.
- Ability to create engaging content on the fly, capturing the energy and vibe of events or trends in real-time.
