We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Eating Disorders Consultant Paediatrician to join our team at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide senior medical support and guidance to our team, working directly with children and young people, and their families, and liaising as appropriate with other external health providers and acute hospitals.

About the Role

As an Eating Disorders Consultant Paediatrician, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing senior medical support and guidance to the team
  • Working directly with children and young people, and their families, and liaising as appropriate with other external health providers and acute hospitals
  • Supporting your peers and team leader, and being an effective team member while allowing them to work with their own initiative
  • Working alongside a 1wte CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist within the service
  • Committing to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals, and agencies

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
  • CCT or equivalent
  • Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST
