The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering integrated digital marketing campaigns and playing a key role in strategic discussions about how SEO can solve client business challenges and drive marketing performance.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out technical site audits and creating clear roadmaps and evidence-based strategies to deliver results for clients
  • Contributing to the new business process by creating high-impact audits on prospective clients' digital position
  • Taking ownership of clients' digital performance and technical integrity
  • Defining key metrics that drive SEO performance and creating qualitative and quantitative reporting to show progress
  • Developing and implementing link acquisition plans, including identifying target sites, content opportunities, and content ideas
  • Carrying out competitor analysis, backlink audits, keyword research, and other research projects as required
  • Providing detailed site architecture and URL structure recommendations to in-house development teams
  • Troubleshooting and debugging roadblocks in search engines or users accessing content
  • Resolving complex indexation and crawlability issues

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of SEO principles and Google best practice, proficiency in using the Microsoft Office package, and experience with website crawling tools, Screaming Frog, and Deep Crawl.

They will also have a working knowledge of how HTML, CSS, and JavaScript work together, a basic understanding of client-server behavior, and a good knowledge of popular CMS like WordPress.
