CAD Technician Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced CAD Technician to join our dynamic and supportive team at Bennett and Game Recruitment. As a CAD Technician, you will be working on a variety of hospitality projects, including pubs, hotels, bars, and restaurants, alongside a diverse team of designers and architects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed drawings using AutoCAD for hospitality projects
  • Collaborate with designers and architects to translate design concepts into technical drawings
  • Revise and update technical drawings based on feedback from the design team and clients
  • Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations in all technical drawings
  • Maintain organised project files and manage version control for all CAD documentation
  • Liaise with project managers and team members to meet deadlines and ensure smooth project workflow
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years' experience as a CAD Technician or similar
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Technical building construction knowledge
  • Up to date with UK building regulations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient at producing high-quality drawings for a range of applications
  • Able to work effectively under time and budget constraints
  • Good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
Remuneration:
  • £30,000-£40,000 salary (D.O.E.)
  • Early Friday finish at 4pm
  • Annual leave entitlement that increases with length of service
  • Supportive and friendly working environment within a small, family-run company
