About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Formulation Technician to join our team in Liverpool, contributing to the development of innovative formulation and product technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and test formulations using development scale equipment and appropriate methods.
- Develop and implement test methods to support formulation and prototype assessment.
- Conduct pilot production studies and raise COSHH and risk assessments for new materials and processes.
- Provide ongoing support across categories and contribute ideas to project discussions and team meetings.
- Perform and record detailed physical and analytical assessments of formulation characteristics.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in liquids formulation, processing, filling, and characterisation.
- Experience in soft solids formulation, processing, and characterisation.
- Excellent time management, report writing, and team working skills.
- Ability to break down activities into achievable tasks and provide effective solutions.
