About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Controller to join our team at a specialist manufacturing company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring timely payments and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Agreeing and managing payment schedules to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Assisting with the commercial setup of contractual agreements, ensuring compliance with industry standards
  • Managing payment plans to maximise cash flow and minimise financial risk
  • Collating and producing financial reports to inform business decisions
  • Sourcing and managing subcontract payments and agreements to maintain positive relationships with suppliers

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Previous experience in a Quantity Surveyor or general commercial role, such as estimation or procurement
  • Experience of managing payments and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to work in a project-driven environment, with a focus on delivering results under pressure
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks

The salary for this role is estimated at £65,000 per annum, based on industry standards and market conditions. The company offers a competitive compensation package, including a generous salary and benefits.
