About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Global Fund Operations team at Ocorian. As the Head of Global Fund Operations, you will be responsible for building and managing centralized global fund operations teams to deliver consistent services across FATCA/CRS filings, regulatory reporting, and cash management/payment processes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Build and manage centralized global fund operations teams to deliver consistent services across FATCA/CRS filings, regulatory reporting, and cash management/payment processes.
  • Process Design and Implementation: Design and implement best practice, controlled, and efficient procedures for operational delivery, focusing on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Business Controls: Establish and oversee business controls process across fund operations, fund accounting, investor services, and fund administration to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and ISAE 3402 certification.
  • Collaboration and Strategy: Collaborate with global functional product leads, regional heads, and our product development teams to develop and execute a common strategy for fund services, expanding the operations remit as needed.
  • Client-Facing: Act as the senior client-facing contact for all engagements related to these services.
Requirements
  • Proven experience running global operations teams in asset servicing, preferably in the context of fund administration.
  • Track record of designing operational processes, procedures, and implementing them from scratch.
  • Proven ability to select and deploy technology for process efficiency and automation.
  • In-depth and practical knowledge of controls and operational risk frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively both with executive peers and build team benchstrength at all levels for direct reports.
