Job Summary
Morson Talent is seeking a skilled Obsolescence Engineer to provide expert guidance on managing legacy products and services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective obsolescence service meets the needs of both internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough investigations into obsolescence issues, analyzing technical data and industry trends to identify solutions.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate the impact of obsolescence on business operations and customer relationships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of obsolescence management into existing processes.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to stakeholders on obsolescence-related matters.
Requirements
- Proven experience in obsolescence management, technical product support, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex technical data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, such as BS EN 62402:2019.
