About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Deputy Manager to join our team at Wood Care Group. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in providing care and supervision in our home, working alongside the Home Manager and Assistant Deputy Manager's.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide care and supervision to residents, ensuring their physical, psychological, and social needs are met.
  • Assist with management tasks, including supervisions, observations, rota planning, medication audits, and end of month meds.
  • Support the management team in ensuring the smooth running of the home.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and staff.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Good communication skills, to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
  • Previous experience working in a care home environment, although not essential.
  • A committed and organised approach, with the ability to work flexibly, including weekends.
  • NVQ level 3 as a minimum, or working towards.
  • Availability to work on-call within the management team.
