Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Operator Trainee to join our production team and play a vital role in our vinyl record manufacturing process. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for learning and operating various machinery and equipment, ensuring the highest production standards, and contributing to the timely delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hands-On Training: Learn to operate and maintain a variety of equipment and machinery used in our production process, including digital print and finishing technologies.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor the production process, inspect materials and products for quality, and make precise adjustments to ensure top-notch results.
  • Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring efficient production.
  • Process Management: Follow established manufacturing processes and maintain accurate records of production jobs, materials used, and any issues encountered.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our production team to prioritize and fulfill production orders promptly, contributing to the timely delivery of products.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in the organization and management of supplies and materials to keep the production line running smoothly.
Requirements
  • GCSE C or above in English and Maths.
  • A keen interest in the production process and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage time to meet production deadlines.
  • Good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials if required.
  • Flexibility to work in different shifts and weekends if necessary.
Desirable Skills
  • Ideally, experience or knowledge of digital print and finishing, although not essential.
  • Familiarity with vinyl records.
