We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Veterinary Surgeon to contribute to the success of GLG Vets in Teddington. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional veterinary care and thrive in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide top-quality veterinary care and treatment to a diverse range of animals.
  • Perform routine check-ups, surgeries, and emergency care as required, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each patient, facilitating seamless communication among the veterinary team.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team of veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic.
  • Ensure the clinic runs efficiently and effectively during your shifts, promoting a positive and productive work environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Veterinary degree (MRCVS or equivalent) and a strong commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meeting the needs of the clinic.
  • Experience in both routine and emergency veterinary care, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development, with a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest advances in veterinary medicine.

Shift Details: This role offers a flexible 4-day workweek, promoting a healthy work-life balance. You will also participate in a 1:6 full weekend rotation at our Richmond hospital.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per year
