Staff Nurse Role in London Hip Unit

The Princess Grace Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare UK, is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to join its renowned Hip Unit team.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse to work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to the exceptional care provided to patients with hip problems. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting the Clinical Nurse Specialist in assessing and planning specialist nursing advice and procedures.

About the Role
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop pre-assessment skills under the guidance of the CNS and work effectively with outpatients and pre-assessment teams.
  • Contribute to orthopaedic pathophysiology knowledge and pre-existing conditions expertise.
  • Assist Consultants and CNS in follow-up appointments, wound care, and vital sign management.
  • Deputise for the CNS when absent from clinic, ensuring seamless patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and patients.
Requirements
  • NMC Registered Nurse Level 1
  • Experience in outpatient settings or specialty areas
  • Pre-assessment experience and phlebotomy training
  • Clinical competence in wound care management
