Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team to manage client portfolios, ensuring seamless transaction management and advice from internal processes.
  • Complete VAT and CIS reviews and filings, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance.
  • Communicate with HMRC on an ad-hoc basis, including VAT applications and other matters.
  • Proactively take on responsibilities and administration tasks as required by clients and/or managers, ensuring timely completion and follow-through.
  • Develop expertise in technical matters related to funds, including regulatory requirements, to provide informed advice and support.
  • Ensure client records are up-to-date with all correspondence and information, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Communicate openly and honestly with clients on a regular basis, building strong relationships and trust.
  • Provide support in the opening of bank accounts and communications related to specialist blocked accounts, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Be responsible and approachable when given tasks by senior team members, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
  • Contribute to the development of new, innovative ideas to improve the efficiency of daily tasks, driving continuous improvement.
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with all suppliers, team members, and clients, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Drive personal development using available resources at CSC to achieve success, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Accurately record all time spent dealing with client matters to ensure accurate invoicing, maintaining a high level of transparency and accountability.
  • Assist with quarterly invoicing, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Perform ad-hoc project-related tasks and associated testing, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Monitor daily completion of team mailbox and post delivery, assisting with annual leave of junior members and ensuring seamless execution.
  • Requirements:
    • Experience in VAT or dealing with HMRC is an advantage.
    • Ability to work independently and use own initiative, demonstrating self-motivation and discipline.
    • Commitment to achieving excellence for themselves and their clients, driving continuous improvement and success.
    • Proactive and forward-thinking approach, with a focus on innovation and efficiency.
    • Experience in a similar role, potentially including Real Estate Funds administration exposure, is desirable.
