Electrical Systems Technician Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, testing, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within the Social Housing and Local Authority sector.

About the Role:

This is a site-based position that requires collaborating with the support service team while engaging with clients. Expect a dynamic and fast-paced work setting that combines on-site work with ongoing communication with office-based colleagues.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance, installation, and repair of electrical systems within our portfolios
  • Accountability for general reactive maintenance, fault finding, ensuring satisfactory fault rectification
  • Undertaking general maintenance tasks and survey inspections in areas including confined spaces and at height
Requirements:
  • Qualified to C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent (essential)
  • Test & Inspection Qualification (desirable)
  • Certificate in BS7671 - The Requirements for Electrical Installations 18th Edition
  • Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical systems
