About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Analyst/Consultant to join our team at Travelers. As an Actuarial Analyst/Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting our pricing models, pricing data, and pricing analysis in the actuarial department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain exposure-based pricing models in Python.
  • Prepare data and analysis for actuarial rating validation exercises for specific products.
  • Contribute to the analysis of pricing model data.
  • Assist with other roles, such as case pricing, business planning, and reinsurance purchase, carried out by the Travelers pricing team.
  • Communicate with actuaries on the appropriateness of data and analyses.
Requirements
  • University degree in a STEM-related field.
  • Programming skills in R/Python or similar.
  • Demonstrable ability in actuarial and quantitative analysis and statistical concepts.
  • Associate Actuarial Credential preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Demonstrable experience in quantitative analysis required.
