Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Counsellor Specialist to join our team at WhereToTalk. The successful candidate will provide specialist therapeutic counselling to clients, working within a non-judgmental and confidential service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialist pre-trial counselling for clients going through the Criminal Justice system and post-trial therapeutic support.
  • Undertake specific administration duties related to the counselling service, including electronic case note management, client assessments and contracting, and gathering user feedback.
  • Operate in accordance with current service policy and the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) ethical framework.
  • Ability to commute to the office on a daily basis.
  • Diploma in counselling at Level 4 or above.
  • Experience of working with adult clients who have suffered Sexual Violence (SV).
  • IT Literate.
  • BACP Individual Membership.
  • BACP Registered.
