Join Turner & Townsend, a leading global consultancy, and take on a challenging role as a Senior Cost Manager in our Birmingham office. Our Healthcare team is expanding nationwide, delivering transformative projects and programmes, and we need an experienced professional to lead the way.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver end-to-end cost management services on major healthcare projects and nationally significant programmes.
  • Utilize our cutting-edge digital cost management tools to optimize cost performance and drive value for our clients.
  • Collaborate with leading design teams, sector specialists, and main contractors to manage design to budget.
  • Analyze and test budgets using our Benchmarking app, powered by national data.
  • Improve collaboration with designers and highlight changes between design versions using CostX and our cost planning app.
  • Inform clients of future cost trends by harnessing the analytical capabilities of our Market Rates App.
  • Advise clients on procurement and contract strategies.
  • Deliver procurement strategies using our eTender platform, producing financial reports and comparing tenders efficiently.
  • Effectively manage post-contract cost variances, change control processes, and valuations using our Cost Control App.
  • Present monthly post-contract cost control reports to clients.
Requirements:
  • Minimum BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering cost management services in healthcare or life sciences.
  • Full membership or working towards RICS (MRICS), ACostE, or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Practical knowledge of NEC forms of contract beneficial.
