Coatings Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Paint Sprayer to join our team in Morecambe. The ideal candidate will have a background in paint preparation and spraying, with experience working with steel and aluminium products.

The role involves preparing large steel constructions for painting, applying high-quality coatings to maximize the finish, and ensuring compliance with industry health and safety standards.

• Prepare steel constructions for painting
• Apply high-quality coatings using air-assisted painting systems
• Ensure quality of finished products through self-inspection
• Work with shotblasting equipment to re-prepare products as needed

• Previous experience in paint preparation and spraying
• Experience working with commercial paint shops and steel/aluminium products
• Knowledge of air-assisted paint systems and industry health and safety standards
• Ability to demonstrate a high level of quality resulting in consistent finishes

• An estimated salary of £14.00 - £16.00 per hour, depending on experience
• A 42.5-hour workweek, Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00
