APEX APPOINT LTD is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the engineering department, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining automation systems that drive production efficiency.

The successful candidate will have a background in FMCG, food, or beverage industry with a focus on electrical control systems, troubleshooting, and maintenance. You will work closely with the team to ensure seamless operation of the factory's automation systems.

Salary: £52,500 per year, based on experience and skills.

About the role:

  • Implement and maintain electrical control systems using Allen Bradley and Siemens technologies
  • Troubleshoot and maintain equipment to minimize downtime
  • Manage high- and low-pressure centrifugal pumps, seal kits, and optimize thermal and hydraulic processes
  • Oversee essential utilities like steam and effluent systems to ensure optimal factory performance
  • Design and implement PLC and Variable Speed Drives solutions
