About the Role


We are seeking a highly experienced Actuary to join our team at Canada Life Group (UK) Ltd (The), where you will play a key role in leading our actuarial function and driving business growth.


Key Responsibilities



  • Provide expert actuarial advice and guidance to senior management, ensuring that our business is well-positioned to meet its strategic objectives.
  • Lead the development and implementation of actuarial models and methods, ensuring that our risk management and reporting processes are robust and effective.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer experience.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including senior management, regulators, and external partners.
  • Mentor and coach junior actuaries, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and expertise.

Requirements



  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior actuarial role, with a strong track record of delivering business growth and improving operational efficiency.
  • Proven expertise in actuarial modeling, risk management, and reporting, with a deep understanding of the life insurance industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve exceptional results.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to work with complex data and models.
