We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Ledger Coordinator to join our finance team at Signet Resources. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing the financial ledger process, ensuring that invoices are processed accurately, efficiently, and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Match, verify, and code supplier invoices.
- Accurately enter invoices, ensuring VAT is correctly recorded and reconciled.
- Process supplier payments via BACS, ensuring timely and secure transactions.
- Reconcile supplier statements to maintain accurate financial records.
- File invoices and maintain a well-organized digital system.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all financial ledger queries and concerns.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and colleagues.
- Review and suggest improvements to current financial systems and processes.
- Follow up on unauthorized invoices and resolve supplier queries in a timely manner.
- Support the Financial Controller with ad-hoc finance tasks as needed.
Key Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with colleagues and suppliers professionally.
- Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently using your own initiative.
- Self-disciplined, proactive, and flexible with a strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office packages.
