About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Risk Manager to join our team at NHS West Sussex Talking Therapies. As a key member of our Clinical Leadership team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of our mental health services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the interface between our service and secondary mental health care services, ensuring seamless referrals and effective risk management.
  • Provide duty cover when needed, working alongside our Clinical Leadership team and existing Duty staff to ensure the smooth operation of our duty rota.
  • Develop and implement robust risk management and safeguarding processes across the service, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of our services.

Requirements
  • RMN or Allied Health Professional with current registration and accreditation.
  • Educated to degree level in a relevant subject or equivalent level of experience in health or social care.
  • Knowledge of IAPT and psychological therapies, with experience of working with secondary care mental health services.
  • Ability to work at pace and effectively under pressure, with patients who are highly distressed and/or at risk of self-harm or suicide.
