Job Description

Fleet Services Operator

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Fleet Services Operator to join our Transport Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for making bulk collections and deliveries between various DPD sites and customers nationwide.

Your duties will include driving a modern and well-maintained fleet on an agreed shift pattern, delivering to HGV-friendly locations. Deliveries and collections may involve trailer swaps or having your trailer live unloaded and reloaded, depending on individual customer needs.

To succeed in this role, you must have a valid UK Class 1 Driving Licence, minimum 12 months Class 1 experience, a valid UK CPC Card, and a valid UK Digital Tachograph Card. You should also be able to load and unload trailers where needed.

About the Role

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week, with the opportunity to work additional hours if required. The hourly rate for this role is £15.52ph for any hours worked between 18:00 - 06:00.

You will be based at DPD Carlisle, Unit 1, Bacard Way, Kingmoor Park North, Carlisle, CA6 4FD.
