Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire and Security Systems Engineer to join our esteemed team in Preston on a full-time, permanent basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, fault-finding, and maintaining IP CCTV, Access Control, Fire and Intruder Alarm systems.

About the Position:

This is a field-based position, covering multiple sites, where you will work with various manufacturers' brands. Your primary focus will be ensuring high standards of work quality while maintaining effective communication with customers at all times. You will also be responsible for completing tasks efficiently, providing support to team members when needed, and driving company growth through your exceptional skills and enthusiasm.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Servicing, repair, fault-finding, and maintenance of IP CCTV, Access Control, Fire and Intruder Alarm systems
  2. Field-based role, covering multiple sites
  3. Working with a variety of manufacturers' brands
  4. Ensuring high standards of work quality
  5. Maintaining effective communication with customers at all times
  6. Completing tasks efficiently
  7. Providing support to team members when needed

Requirements:
  1. Full UK driving licence or equivalent (Essential)
  2. Motivation and enthusiasm to seize opportunities
  3. Ideally, a minimum of 3 years' experience in the Security Industry (Desirable, but not essential)
  4. Open to applicants with experience in one or more disciplines, with a willingness to undergo training
  5. Familiarity with various manufacturers' systems
  6. Desirable qualifications: IPAF, CSCS/ECS, FIA, and/or City & Guilds
  7. A positive attitude and strong self-motivation are essential
