Senior Content Editor

Amazon is seeking a Senior Content Editor to drive the development of conversational shopping experiences in German. This role requires a strong understanding of AI and its application in diverse business settings.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional writing and communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and relatable content. They will also have a knack for simplifying complex statements and a passion for serving customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Write, edit, and annotate short-form content for AI model evaluation and training.
  2. Define and implement style guidelines for Generative AI shopping experiences.
  3. Uphold response quality using customer feedback to drive improvements.
  4. Analyze root causes and propose solutions to enhance evaluation and annotation tasks.
  5. Work closely with product, science, and engineering stakeholders to prioritize and complete projects.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Strong experience in editing, PR, marketing, communications, copywriting, journalism, or UX/CX product management.
  2. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, journalism, communications, or comparable fields.
  3. Bilingual fluency in English and German.
  4. Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  5. Highly effective at writing and assessing short-form content.
  6. Experience in defining and owning project objectives, requirements, and delivery.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Experience working in Generative AI editorial, content management, prompt engineering, tutoring, and/or annotation.
  2. Experience in team management.
  3. Experience working with global and cross-functional teams to drive product improvements.
  4. Experience in documenting learnings, strategies, and proposals to present to leadership and stakeholders.
