**Job Overview:**
This is a leadership role that requires strategic thinking, creativity, and passion for delivering high-quality emotional health and wellbeing services. The successful candidate will lead the Emotional Health and Wellbeing workstream alongside the Senior Management Team (SMT), maintaining the highest standards in service provision and delivery.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead the Emotional Health and Wellbeing workstream, developing and implementing strategies to improve service outcomes.
  • Training and Development: Deliver training and support to workers on national, local, and in-house initiatives, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent care.
  • Caseload Management: Allocate case work to workers, monitor their caseloads, and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Tender Writing and Budgeting: Contribute to writing tenders and bids to charitable and statutory-sector funders, ensuring we secure the necessary funding to deliver our services.
  • Case Management: Manage a small caseload, working directly with young people who require emotional health and wellbeing support.
  • Care Packages: Develop flexible and realistic care packages for clients, ensuring their needs are met and they receive the support they require.
  • Access to Services: Enable access to GP, CAMHS, Adult mental health services, and other relevant clinical input for clients.
  • Worker Support: Ensure workers fulfill all professional requirements, including safeguarding, supervision, and IT recording.
  • Professional Development: Attend training to ensure professional development needs are met as a leader.
  • Recruitment and Staffing: Support in the recruitment of staff to the service area.
  • Budgeting and Financial Management: Support the SMT in accountability for the budget, adhering to appropriate financial policies.
  • Risk Management: Ensure risk assessments and risk management are effectively managed.

**Requirements:**

  • A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven leadership and management experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

**Salary:** £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
