Asbestos Analyst Position

Location - Warwickshire

Salary Range - £30,000 - £38,000

Company Overview:

Life Environmental Services is a reputable, family-owned company with a national presence. Established in 1995, the company provides comprehensive environmental consultancy services, including asbestos, legionella, and fire consultancy services.

The company employs over 135 staff members across the UK, covering various sectors such as construction, local government, MOD, education, social housing, logistics, and manufacturing.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Asbestos Analyst to join our growing team. The successful candidate will have practical knowledge of carrying out analytical duties in line with HSG248 and other relevant tasks at various property types.

The role involves visiting clients' sites, performing visual checks, and recording relevant data. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to progress within our company.

About the Job:

  • Quality Assurance checks of report accuracy
  • Compliance with procedures in accordance with the quality manual and current HSE Guidance
  • Carrying out analytical duties in line with HSG248
  • Basic air monitoring and 4-stage clearance experience
  • Monthly QC slides and quarterly RICE slides

About the Successful Applicant:

The ideal candidate will be self-disciplined, experienced, accountable, flexible, and have a positive, proactive vision for growth both for the company and personally.

Requirements:

  • Full UK Licence
  • P403, P404
  • At least 6 months qualified experience
  • Clean record and able to pass a DBS check
