Job Title: Academic Tutor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Teacher of French to join our team in Lancaster. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality lessons and inspiring students to achieve their best.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and deliver engaging lessons to promote student participation and achievement

Work closely with colleagues to develop a curriculum that meets the needs of all learners

Use effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress and inform teaching practice

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in French language and literature
  • Previous teaching experience at KS3 and KS4 level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under own initiative as well as part of a team

Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this role is £30,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Working Arrangements:

This is a full-time, full-year placement, working as part of a dynamic team in a secondary school in Lancaster.
