Job Summary

Qatar Duty Free is seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Mechanic to join our team in London Heathrow. As an Aircraft Mechanic, you will be responsible for delivering aircraft maintenance services to support the operational requirements of our airline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and non-scheduled tasks on aircraft in accordance with maintenance data and company procedures.
  • Advise and assist engineers on aircraft and technical documentation to ensure accurate information is entered into records.
  • Ensure compliance with company Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and regulations.
  • Inspect and examine aircraft, engines, and components for damage or defects.
  • Service and maintain ground support equipment and tools.
  • Provide support for aircraft recovery and maintenance services to customer airlines.
  • Maintain line stores and ensure compliance with company requirements.

Requirements

  • Relevant vocational, tertiary, or trade qualification from a recognized aeronautical or technical college.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Aircraft Mechanic, with 3 years working on modern jet aircraft.
  • Experience working on aircraft types operated by Qatar Airways.
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance fundamentals and ability to work independently.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
