Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Manager to join our team. As a Technical Manager, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our engineers, as well as interacting with our administration, management, and regional engineering teams to ensure seamless communication and information dissemination.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide expert technical support and guidance to engineers in the field via phone and other channels.
  2. Maintain open communication lines between teams to ensure efficient information sharing and problem-solving.
  3. Participate in a call-out rota to provide urgent technical support when needed.
  4. Deliver exceptional performance against contracted targets and company expectations.

In this role, you will also liaise with client staff to determine their requirements and promote continuous improvement works and project-related activities.

Requirements:
  1. A minimum City & Guilds level or UK Level 3 NVQ qualification in relevant electrical disciplines, or time-served experience with equivalent qualifications.
  2. GCSE passes (or 'O' Level equivalent) in Math's and English, or recognised equivalents.
  3. Demonstrable experience working within industrial and commercial sectors.
  4. A valid UK Driving Licence and ability to pass a DBS check for relevant convictions.
  5. Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  6. A professional telephone manner.
  7. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including pension scheme, life assurance, and generous holiday allowance.

Estimated salary: £50,000.
