IT Procurement Manager

We are seeking an experienced IT Procurement Manager to join our team at Kingfisher. As a key member of our IT Procurement team, you will be responsible for delivering procurement excellence while being responsive to customers' needs and evolving demands.
Key Responsibilities:- Execute the IT sourcing strategy to support the Kingfisher Group's IT Strategy and outlined objectives.
- Lead end-to-end IT Procurement management, analysis, and reporting, as well as vendor management.
- Procure across Software, Hardware, Services, and Telecoms with an in-scope spend of £40+ million.
- Develop and implement the yearly procurement plan, ensuring alignment and consistency with the IT Sourcing strategy.
- Ensure Group scale is leveraged for Procurements through close communication with the wider Commercial team and IT stakeholders.
- Identify cost reduction opportunities and coordinate, plan, and execute benchmarks.
- Analysis and monitoring of IT sourcing and commercial trends.
- Ensure that all procurement requests are properly authorized, and the appropriate due diligence and approvals are carried out prior to contract signature.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure that demand is effectively understood, IT procurement plans are bought into, and stakeholders have the procurement information they need to support effective decision-making.
- Experienced IT Procurement professional with experience in procuring software and Software as a Service.
- Experience working in a large blue-chip environment preferred, with a track record of delivering significant benefits to make change happen through professional procurement.
- Experience working and negotiating with international suppliers, managing a range of procurement contracts and projects from below £100k to upwards of £2mil in value.
- Experienced in vendor management and getting the most out of current contracts.
- Strong stakeholder management with the ability to build long-lasting relationships with internal colleagues and external suppliers.
