Industrial Electrical Technologist

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team in Flintshire, UK. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and efficiency of our manufacturing operations.

The position involves overseeing the maintenance and testing of all electrical and mechanical equipment on site, including electrical equipment, mechanical equipment, and ATEX equipment. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring the correct installation, testing, documenting, and reporting of issues with Safety Instrument Systems.

In addition to their core duties, the successful candidate will provide basic coverage for the Maintenance Manager during their absence and assist with project work from conception to commissioning.

The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications, such as an HNC or NVQ Level 3 in Maintenance/Instrumentation Engineering, and knowledge of 18th Edition wiring regulations. They will also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in MS Office, and experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

• Overseeing the maintenance and testing of all electrical and mechanical equipment on site, including electrical equipment and mechanical equipment.
• Ensuring the correct installation, testing, documenting, and reporting of issues with Safety Instrument Systems.
• Assistance with on-site management of contractors, including inductions and audits.
• Active participation in project work from initial conception to final commissioning.
• Maintenance and update of asset integrity program procedures.
• Utilization of SAP CMMS for accurate recording and completion of maintenance activities.
• Support of the Maintenance Manager by managing workshop and stores through sourcing and maintaining stock levels, planning and prioritizing work schedules, and implementing and maintaining 5S procedures in the workshop.

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
