Job Description

We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our Technical Apprentice program as a Technical Apprentice. As a Technical Apprentice, you will commit to the successful completion of all your academic modules and assignments in support of your Apprenticeship in Engineering Technical Support (Apprenticeship Standard Ref: ST0457).

In years 1 and 2, you will spend time at college completing a Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and then return to Leonardo for rotational placements. In years 3 and 4, you will continue to rotate around different departments, gaining further knowledge of the company and developing your engineering skills.

You will be responsible for contributing to the success of our business by applying your knowledge and skills in a real-world setting. You will have the opportunity to work on various projects, develop your problem-solving skills, and collaborate with colleagues from different departments.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have the following qualifications:

  • 5 GCSE grades 4 - 9 or grades A*- C or equivalent - Mandatory: English, Maths and Science Plus 2 subjects
